Mr. Alvin S. Clark, a native of the Goshen Hill Community in Whitmire, S. C., was ordained as Deacon in 2002. Deacon Clark attended Union County Public Schools and honorably served in the United States Air Force for 24 years and 11 months. He was later employed as a Logistics Manager with Walmart Distribution Center in Laurens, S. C. and retired in 2003. Deacon Clark and his wife, Lynda Casey Clark, have been married for 16 years. Together they have 3 children, 1 son-n-law, daughter-n-law and 7 grandchildren. He enjoys gardening, golf, spending time with family, and giving back to the community.
