Deacon George W. Davis a native of Whitmire/Goshen Hill, South Carolina.  Deacon Davis is the son of Aaron and the late Josie B. Davis.  He attended Union County public schools and graduated from Whitmire High School (Newberry County), Whitmire, South Carolina.  Deacon Davis is a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Bight Star Masonic Lodge #222.  He is married to Wanda Sanders Davis and they are the proud parents of Candace, Shannon and George II (P.J). Deacon Davis enjoys fishing and working in his yard. If asked, Deacon Davis would say “It’s not about me but all about God.”
